Who said November is a boring, cold and rainy month? Well, for sure we cannot work on the weather conditions but, we can promise a month full of nice activities for those who decide to stay with Castello del Nero!

First of all the exhibition of Tommaso Nuti, a local nature photographer, that has been examining the wildlife of Tuscany for years, immortalising foxes, wildboars, deer, birds and wolves in their natural habitat. The photos are displayed at Castello del Nero until November 26th. An appointment not to be missed while in Tuscany is without any doubts the olive harvest. The harvest is an important social event where families get together to pick the olives, and eat in the fields. In the magnificent estate of Castello del Nero, cultivated with olive groves and vineyards, our guests can explore the olive groves, meet with our farmers, visit a local ancient olive press, enjoy a Tuscan lunch and an olive oil based spa treatment and learn how to choose the best extra virgin olive oil thanks to our Sommelier’ suggestions. Our Executive Chef Giovanni Luca Di Pirro will be glad to share his kitchen with Chef Luciano Zazzeri from La Pineta restaurant in Marina di Bibbona, by the Tuscan Tyrrenian sea.
