September is the most highly anticipated month for all wine lovers because as the countryside starts to change its colours from lush greens to the beautiful red and gold shades of Autumn, it is time for the grape harvest! Castello del Nero is celebrating this important tradition by offering its guests the opportunity to get into the spirit by booking the 4-night  Antinori Wine Cellars in Badia a Passignano package inclusive of wine tour and tasting at the Antinori wine cellars under the ancient Abbey. During the second week of September, guests are also invited to try  the Grape Harvest Experience and spend a full day dedicated to visiting our vineyards, enjoying a luxurious spa treatment using grape seeds followed by a wine tasting in our 12th century cellar.

If you feel like discovering the surroundings, many events take place in the area as the Expo del Chianti Classico in Greve in Chianti or the Festa dell’Uva in Impruneta, a parade of the four neighborhoods with shows and music based on the grape and grape harvest theme. Otherwise simply relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets from our grounds while tasting some fine wine!
