Raise your hand if you don’t go anywhere without your dog. Don’t worry, you’re not alone! If this describes you, then you’ve come to the right place. Loews Hotels, as a brand, is extremely pet-friendly, and Loews Regency San Francisco sits in the heart of a very dog-friendly city. My coolest dog friend, Oakley (who belongs to my good friends Arkadiusz and Kelly), and I are going to show you some of our favorite dog friendly San Francisco spots.
Danny’s Coyle’s is a super cool sports bar that loves dogs as much as we do! They have a great happy hour, and it’s a fantastic example of the quintessential Irish bar. They show the biggest games of the season, so it’s perfect to grab a drink and catch the game. The only problem here is that Oakley is a Jets fan and I’m a Cowboys fan, but we work it out.
Another awesome dog friendly activity that many don’t consider is kayaking! San Francisco has some of the coolest views via kayak. For instance, you can check out AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, from the water! Oakley is definitely an ocean fiend, so make sure your dog is comfortable with being on the water. Don’t forget doggie life jackets, which are incredibly important to your dog’s safety, plus they’re very fashionable.
Finally, Oakley and I love to eat, so we’re going to tell you our favorite dog-friendly restaurant! MoMo’s has an awesome outdoor seating area (the key to a great doggie eatery) and great food! Skip this spot during Giants game, as it’s close to the park and super popular. But definitely grab your best furry friend and check it out on a breezy afternoon. Bonus: it’s about a 10-minute drive from Loews Regency San Francisco, so a great place to check out while staying with one of the most pet-friendly hotel brands in the country.
