Founded in Geneva in 1865 by Jean-Jacques Mayer, the Hotel Beau Rivage is one of the rare hotels in Switzerland which is still run by the same family after five generations. The hotel, and the sublime treasures it has accumulated over 150 years, offer every visitor the unique privilege of beauty, refinement and harmony brought together by state of the art technology.

The hotel, situated on the lake front, has become a fixture in Geneva. It is close to the Mont Blanc bridge, exclusive stores, well known banks and businesses, and the Old Town. It is fifteen minutes by car from Geneva International Airport and five minutes on foot from the main train station.

In 2017, the Beau Rivage reopened the "Celestial Floor" with its breath-taking views over Lake Geneva, its soaring "Jet d’Eau" fountain and the Mont Blanc in the distance. The brand-new top floor duplex apartments range from 100 to 150m2, all with a private spa and extremely comfortable beds from which one can admire the stars. Its two most spectacular suites are 150m2 and 250m2 respectively and have the possibility of adding connecting rooms. There is also a unique spacious attic with high ceilings and extraordinary views.

The hotel’s famous "Historical Suites", named after notable guests, have private balconies and terraces overlooking the lake, the Old Town or the Alps.

The Beau Rivage’s Michelin one-star restaurant, Le Chat-Botté, boasts one of the most exciting culinary talents in Switzerland, Chef Dominique Gauthier, and serves modern French cuisine, including a menu prepared by Mr Gauthier personally at the private eight-person Chef’s Table in the kitchen. Patara, the Fine Thai Cuisine restaurant in the hotel, has an exceptional menu of exotic and spicy dishes.

he Atrium Lobby Bar offers light meals and elegant French afternoon tea service in a relaxed setting. In the evening, guests can enjoy beverages in a delightful atmosphere while listening to live piano music.
