Easter week is one of the most spectacular times at Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina. Not only is the weather a perfect 80 degrees, it’s the perfect mixture of sunny and breezy. During Easter weekend, guests enjoy marveling at the marina full of mega yachts and indulging in one of the best brunch buffets in the British Virgin Islands.
Our chef and culinary team have prepared a very special Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 16, 2017, for guests and locals that feature a wide variety of festive dishes to please your entire entourage.
Here’s a taste of what you can expect on Scrub Island’s Easter Brunch menu…
Breakfast Breads: Banana bread, croissants, assorted Danish pastries, white and wheat bread, rye bread, bagels, cream cheese, strawberry jam and orange marmalade.
Insider’s Tip: Lucky (and later) brunch-goers could catch a magical whiff of the daily baking ritual around 3 p.m. by the Gourmet Market & Café in Marina Village.
Fresh Salad Bar: Create your own salad with your choice of mixed baby greens, crisp romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, shredded carrots, peppers, red onions, herb croutons, shredded parmesan cheese, crumbled blue cheese, spiced pecans, bacon bits and assorted dressings. Guests can also pick from the prepared Waldorf or Asian Seafood Salad.
Hot Breakfast Dishes: These breakfast dishes are staples! Applewood smoked bacon, sausage links, scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes.
Pancake & Waffle Station: Cook-to-order Belgium waffles and pancakes with whipped butter, maple syrup, fresh berries, toasted almonds and whipped cream.
Cooked-to-order Eggs & Omelet Station: Have our chef make the perfect omelet with an array of combinations. Pick from fresh mushrooms, tomatoes, bacon, ham, bell peppers, onions, spinach, jalapenos and shredded cheddar cheese (egg whites also available).
Carving Station: Our carving station features slow roasted turkey with sage gravy and New York strip loin with mushroom bordelaise sauce.
Entrees & Sides: Additional entrees and sides include roasted pork loin with rum glaze and mango chutney, grilled grouper with Thai coconut curry sauce, rice pilaf and sautéed seasonal vegetables.
Delectable Desserts: Satisfy your sweet cravings and keep yourself from digging into your children’s Easter basket with desserts like assorted cakes & pastries and a tropical fruit platter—fresh from the Caribbean.
Brunching at Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina has become a tradition for many families and couples that come back year after year. Join in on our special Caribbean tradition! Remember, Easter Brunch is not just for resort guests, but also open to BVI locals!
Traveling to our private island? Catch our complimentary Scrub Island Ferry that departs from Trellis Bay :45 minutes after the hour and returns :30 minutes after the hour.
The price for brunch is $60 plus a 20% service charge per person. Children under the age of twelve are $30 per person.
