Due to the expected effects to The Dominican Republic because of the impact of Hurricane Irma on the following days, Excellence Group confirms the immediate application of the Hurricane Policy at Excellence El Carmen.
Our clients’ safety is of the utmost importance and, for that reason, we will provide specially designated safety areas within the hotel. If you are in the hotel at this moment, please stay in contact with our staff and follow the instructions provided.
We invite customers arriving between September 6th – 8th, to either cancel or modify their reservation for their own convenience to avoid the imminent contingency.
Cancellation penalties for arrivals from Monday, September 4th through the 8th will be waived; we kindly suggest that guests traveling to Punta Cana within these dates to rebook their stay for a future date. Please contact the travel company you bought the stay with to process the cancellation accordingly.
Early departures between September 4th thru the 8th will receive full reimbursement of the unused nights through the travel company that issued the original reservation.
Excellence Group will provide special distress rate for clients that are forced to extend their stay due to canceled flights.
Our staff will ensure that all contingency plans are executed accordingly to Excellence Group standards and procedures, following the instructions of the Dominican Authorities. We will keep our guests up to date with the official information.
