Best Seattle Seafood Restaurants

As you’ll soon find out, seafood is my passion. In fact, when asked to write a blog post about the best Seattle seafood restaurants, my mouth immediately started watering with the prospect of getting to check out all of these spots. I love to cook seafood myself, and love to experience new places to get new ideas for how to make my own version at home. As much as I love to cook, another fun fact about yours truly is that I absolutely hate doing dishes, so going out is my favorite! Read on for what I believe are three of the best seafood spots in Seattle.

Everything about Copine is memorable. The food, the design, the lighting, the entire restaurant is incredibly well thought out. We started with the ahi tuna crudo, which was impeccable, and I had the caramelized sea scallops, which were heaven sent. Their classic French style of cooking is perfected by the chef’s attention to detail. Copine is definitely one of my favorite spots by far in Seattle.

Blueacre Seafood

The best way I can describe Blueacre Seafood is that all of the flavors work perfectly together. The black cod, for instance, comes with an extremely flavorful broth that every person at my table fell in love with, and we all agreed that the flavors paired so well together. All of their fish (and yes, I mean all), is responsibly sourced, which makes it a very easy “yes!” while in Seattle. They have a great happy hour with, $1.50 oysters (which means I could eat $150 worth of oysters…) and a very hip space.

Elliott’s Oyster House

Elliott’s Oyster House is the epitome of a classic Seattle seafood spot. This restaurant is in a beautiful long space, and everywhere you turn you see water. The wild salmon is perfection, and again, is only from wild, sustainable runs; you won’t find any farmed salmon here. I had it grilled, and it came with a lemon herb butter that I have written multiple pages about in my diary. We enjoyed the Ultimate Chilled, which is a very impressive seafood tower, and my dining partner had the grilled wild prawn risotto, which she loved. Who doesn’t love risotto with this view?

As you can tell, I had a blast writing this post up for all of you Seattle explorers out there, and I hope you’ll find time to experience the best Seattle has to offer during your stay at #LoewHotel1000.
