5 Things You’ll Discover When You Wander Around Loews Miami Beach Hotel

#XperienceTravelTheTaylorWay

Planning a trip to Loews Miami Beach and wondering what to do while you’re here? While our location in the heart of the Art Deco District makes our hotel ideal for guests who want to wander by foot around South Beach, you’d be surprised by how much there is to discover right here on property.

As you explore our reimagined resort and uncover every element of our $50 million transformation, here are five secrets that prove Loews Miami Beach is truly #AWonderfulPlace to Wander.

Wander through the lobby to see the “Stardust” mineral wall.

It won’t take much wandering to discover our resort’s most stunning art installation. As you enter the lobby and head to our reception desk at check-in, you’ll notice “Stardust” by artist Sarah Raskey. The blue, white and gold mineral wall is made of more than 100 materials, from crystals to precious stones, plastics, papers and more.

Wander up to the Zen Terrace above Exhale Spa.

Our Exhale Spa offers not just one quiet space to find your inner zen, but two. Be sure to unwind in the first-floor Zen Lounge – where guests can access relaxing reading material, herbal teas, warm neck pillows and more – but don’t miss out on the Zen Terrace on the third floor. Take the elevator up from the fitness center in St. Moritz Tower and then step outdoors – you’ll find space to clear your mind in the open air, amidst views of the turquoise ocean. The best secret you’ll uncover about the Zen Terrace? It’s the site of complimentary morning meditation classes, offered at 9 AM daily.

Wander to our Pizza Station to create your own pie.

You can order a handcrafted pizza pie from Bar Collins or In Room Dining almost any time of day (well, aside from breakfast), but once the Pizza Station opens each evening, you can actually create your own! Get as wild as you want to when you choose your favorite cheeses, meats and veggies from the topping bar, and then watch as your pie is fired in the oven’s open flame. Our chefs also offer weekend pizza making classes for the little ones through our SOBE Kids Club.

Wander through Palm Court to our oceanfront pool.

While our picturesque Palm Court can be considered a destination all its own, it leads to everyone’s favorite destination in the hotel: the pool! Follow the palm tree-laden path to our enhanced oceanfront poolscape. There, you’ll discover what it feels like to be a VIP. Whether you’re experiencing the exclusivity of our SOAK cabanas or lounging poolside, everyone gets pampered with hourly amenities, like Evian mist, coconut water and snacks from the fruit cart.

Wander to the beach for watersports.

Lounge on the sand in a beach chair or daybed, or kick your vacation up a notch with aquatic adventures. Our Resort Amenity Package includes access to kayaks, paddle boards and boogie boards, as well as complimentary Banana Boat rides from 10 AM–11 AM daily. Guests can also partake in other water sports rentals, from catamaran charters to parasailing, windsurfing, WaveRunner tours, and more.
