Summery Tucson Sips

#XperienceTravelTheTaylorWay

When Summer comes around each year in Tucson it’s time to dust off your swimsuit, polish your sunglasses and hit the pool. And although the temperatures can be a bit intimidating, our beloved “dry heat” allows us to take advantage of our many warm and sunny days the best way we know how… in the water with a cocktail in hand! Check out our favorite summertime sips from the Cascade Lounge.

The Rattlesnake

Savvy travelers know a visit to the desert southwest isn’t complete without a margarita. But why stop there? Kick it up a few degrees and embrace our Tucson heat with muddled cilantro and Serrano chilies, making it the perfect drink to start your fiery fiesta!

Gin Cooler

This classic cocktail gets a summer makeover with the addition of bright and fresh muddled strawberries. The taste pairs perfectly with the refreshing cucumber and provides the ever so enjoyable fizz when topped with a splash of soda water. Heat-schmeat… it’s all cool with this summery-sip!

Prickly Pear Margarita

By far our most popular cocktail, you can find this Tucson take on a classic margarita in different forms throughout the resort all utilizing homemade prickly pear syrup harvested from the fruit of prickly pear cacti on property. The vibrant color alone will trigger the attention of anyone nearby and soon you’ll see guests ordering these fabulously tasty drinks all around!

Cheers and happy drinking!
