Opened in 2008, the Dubai Dolphinarium is the first air-conditioned indoor dolphinarium in the Middle East. Situated in Dubai Creek Park in Bur Dubai, the dolphinarium is one of the foremost entertainment and educational venues in the city. The Dubai Dolphinarium is spread over 5,000-square-meter (54,000 sq ft) and has a seating capacity of 1,250 visitors. A fully air-conditioned facility, the Dubai Dolphinarium is home to numerous bottlenose dolphins and seals which the visitors are allowed to watch and interact with. Apart from the 6 famous bottlenose dolphins, there is a healthy and happy population of Northern Fur Seals, South American Fur Seals and over 20 species of exotic parrots. These animals are some of the most intelligent animal species, with certain dolphins known to exhibit intelligence similar to that of a 3 year old child.

A visit to the dolphinarium is a complete family experience. The air-conditioned facility allows a comfortable environment to be in, even if you visit during the day with the sun high up in the sky. Over the years, the dolphinarium has expanded to incorporate additional features other than the dolphin and seal show which it is famous for. Dolphin and Seal Show

The dolphin and seal show is an interactive experience that displays the immense talents, physical and mental, that these animals possess. From diving on command to dancing, juggling and playing ball, the dolphin and seal show is destined to win your hearts. The main performers of the show are 6 bottlenose dolphins. They are fondly named Kyushu, Jerry, Tetka, Fekla, Kai and Elvis. Also, there are two species of seals at the Dolphinarium – the Northern Fur Seals and the South American Fur Seals.
These animals perform in the main show pool which is surrounded by an arena style seating, with regular and VIP sections. Apart from that, there are three training pools and a 600 cubic metres (160,000 US gal) private habitat pool for the dolphins.
Illusion and Dolphin and Seal Show
The 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. performances have an additional magical show before the actual dolphin and seal show begins. The first 20 minutes of the show is dedicated to a magical performance by the resident illusionist Max. His magical escape tricks and illusions will bowl you over. This will then be followed by a 45-minute dolphin and seal show where you can watch these adorable and amazing animals perform incredible tricks and stunts.

A well planned and executed show. I love dolphins and hence this was special. The show was amazing with lot of dolphin acts and other animals. The auditorium was jam packed. A must visit when in Dubai. Superb experience.
Our kids really enjoyed this. They were mesmerized and totally charmed first by the clapping, dancing and performing sea lion and then by the dolphin choreography. Who wouldn’t be fascinated by dolphins playing volleyball or dancing with their trainer ballroom style; or painting a picture or diving through hoops or singing “Let it Go” (well, not really. More like blood curdling squeals).

The main difference between the VIP and Regular seating sections is that the VIP section is present in the center of the arena and gives you the best vantage point. Home to over 20 species of parrots and exotic birds, the Creek Park exotic bird show is the only bird show in Dubai and a must-see. This entertaining experience will amaze you as these intelligent birds perform tricks and fly over your heads. Bird species at the Dolphinarium include Blue and Gold Macaws, Green Winged Macaws, Eclectus Parrots, Sulphur Crested Cockatoos, Sun Conures, African Grey and the Red Billed Hornbill.
