This duckling had quite the vacation at Now Amber Resort & Spa!
A wonderful family – mom, dad and 2 kids ages 8 and 4 – visited Now Amber recently. They have been regular guests of our brand since 2015. As always, and as part of the service we provide at AMResorts, they were recognized as repeat guests and treated with the level of service that characterizes us as a company. On the day of their departure, however, the youngest member of the family was unable to find his best friend – a yellow duckling stuffed animal the size of a hand. The family had to leave without the duckling and our young guest was very sad as he left without his best friend.
With the cooperation of housekeeping, we were able to find the duckling, but the family was already on their way home, so we decided to implement an idea from a previous WOW Story at a sister property. We contacted the father via email to inform him that we had found the yellow duckling vacationing in our facilities, and although he was having a great time, he missed his best friend, so we would send him home as soon as possible and reunite him with his best friend.
Dad was very grateful for the gesture and said they would soon make a trip back! The duckling was mailed along with a large postcard that was made out of pictures of the duckling in different areas of the hotel and enjoying his time at Now Amber.
From the pool to his journey home, the duckling and child would be reunited soon thanks to staff at Now Amber!
